Special Education Teacher | Phoenix, Arizona

Step into a rewarding opportunity to support students as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting just outside Phoenix, AZ. We're seeking two dedicated professionals for full-time, onsite contract roles serving students with diverse learning needs. This assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through May 20th, 2026. You'll play a vital role in guiding and empowering young learners to reach their potential while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Desired Skills and Background:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility)
• Strong knowledge of current instructional strategies for diverse learners
• Experience developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Ability to manage a target caseload of 20 IEPs efficiently and compassionately
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Collaborative approach to working with faculty, support staff, families, and administrators

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct individualized and small-group instruction in accordance with each student's IEP
• Develop, update, and maintain IEP documentation and ensure full compliance with state and federal regulations
• Adapt curriculum materials and teaching methods to meet students’ unique learning needs
• Utilize data-driven strategies to monitor, assess, and report on student progress
• Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and family members to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
• Participate in relevant meetings and professional development as scheduled
