Qualifications:

• Current Arizona Secondary Teaching License
• Valid K-12 Special Education Certificate
• IVP Fingerprint Card (required)
• Previous experience supporting students with emotional disabilities or other eligibility areas
• Familiarity with at-risk, ethnically diverse, and limited English proficient students
• In-depth knowledge regarding special service program development aligned to federal, state, and district standards
• Willingness to participate in Essential Element of Effective Instruction (E.E.E.I.) training, if not already completed

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction across various settings: Inclusion/SUCCESS, Practical, CBT (Life Skills/Transition), and STRIVE (Behavior/Autism/Intensive Support)
• Develop and implement individualized education plans and supporting documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design services and accommodations
• Address unique student needs through proactive behavioral and instructional strategies
• Ensure compliance with all district and legal requirements
