Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Secondary Teaching License
- Current K-12 Special Education Certificate
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience with students with emotional disabilities or diverse needs (at-risk, ELL, exceptional students)
- Knowledge of federal, state, and district special education regulations
- Essential Element of Effective Instruction (E.E.E.I.) certification, or willingness to attend training
- Comfortable with full-time onsite work (not accepting virtual)
- Ability to commute within 30 minutes of Fairfax, Central, or Hayden areas
Role Responsibilities:
- Teach in life skills/transition and structured intensive support classrooms
- Adapt instructional materials for inclusion, SUCCESS, PRACTICAL, CBT, and STRIVE settings
- Develop and manage IEPs and customized educational plans
