As a Cross-Categorical Pre-K Special Education Teacher, you'll support both morning and afternoon sessions, each with a small group of 10-12 students, managing a total caseload of approximately 24 children. Your impact is multiplied with two supportive instructional assistants each session, an ideal setting for effective teaching and fostering developmental progress.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education – Early Childhood or equivalent.
  • Experience with IEP development and case management for Pre-K students.
  • Background working with cross-categorical and inclusive classrooms is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to individual student needs.
  • Develop, implement, and manage IEPs for all assigned students.
  • Coordinate with instructional assistants and related service providers.
  • Maintain regular communication with families and other educators.
  • Manage case load documentation in compliance with school and district policies.
