Grades K - 5 Special Education Teacher in Phoenixville, PA

This contract position offers special education professionals the chance to work with students in grades K-5, providing dedicated instruction in Life Skills, Autistic Support, and Learning Support. These roles span resource classrooms with both push-in and pull-out services, and Learning Support will be split between two buildings.

Pay ranges from $37.15 to $54.26 per hour, recognizing your expertise and dedication.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Instructional I or II Pennsylvania Certification in K-12 Special Education (no emergency certifications accepted)
• Out-of-state certifications will be considered; please submit credentials for review
• Previous experience teaching or supporting elementary-age students in special education settings
• Understanding of resource model (push-in/pull-out), with familiarity in Life Skills, Autistic Support, and Learning Support strongly preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, support staff, and administration
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to meet the needs of students in K-5, across multiple support areas
• Adapt lessons and intervention strategies for individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support inclusive education and student success
• Manage caseloads, maintain records, and document progress
• Effectively serve in split settings as needed
