Key Qualifications:

• Active Special Education Teacher certification in South Carolina (SC license required)
• LD or Multi-Categorical certification
• Direct experience working with middle school populations
• Demonstrated understanding and hands-on experience supporting students with Dyslexia
• Skilled in inclusion practices, particularly push-in services and case management
• Willingness and ability to participate in a second, on-site interview as part of the selection process

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted support for middle school students within inclusive classroom settings, effectively collaborating with general education staff
• Oversee and manage IEPs, ensuring compliance and robust documentation
• Tailor instruction and interventions to meet the needs of students with learning disabilities, especially those with Dyslexia
• Maintain proactive communication with families, staff, and internal teams to maximize student success
• Provide guidance, strategies, and advocacy for assigned students across content areas
