Qualifications & Experience

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience teaching ELA at the elementary (3rd-6th grade) level preferred

• Effective communicator and collaborator with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering targeted ELA instruction to elementary students receiving special education services
• Developing and implementing IEPs in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
• Modifying curriculum and instructional techniques to meet student needs
• Assessing student progress and maintaining thorough records
• Collaborating closely with general education teachers and support staff
• Communicating regularly with families regarding student growth and support strategies
