A Minnesota elementary school is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support a K–1 caseload within a cross-categorical instructional model. This full-time, onsite role blends resource support with center-based instruction, providing specialized academic and behavioral interventions for young learners with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction in both resource and center-based settings.

Implement IEP goals, accommodations, and modifications for K–1 students.

Deliver differentiated instruction using a cross-categorical approach.

Collect data and monitor student progress to inform instruction.

Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff.

Participate in IEP meetings and maintain required documentation.
Qualifications:

Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching License (appropriate K–1 or cross-categorical licensing).

Experience with early elementary students and cross-categorical service models preferred.
