Special Education Teacher in Pineville, LA

Two full-time openings are available for the 2026/2027 school year, each with its own unique focus:

Position 1:

• Full-time for the 2026/2027 school year
• Teach and support students from Pre-K through 5th grade
• Candidates must possess an Early Interventionalist Certificate
• Caseload details will be provided prior to placement

Position 2:

• Begin as soon as possible to allow time to familiarize yourself with educational guidelines ahead of the school year
• Work primarily with Pre-K through 2nd grade students in foundational learning classrooms

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher; Early Interventionalist Certificate required for Position 1
• Experience working with elementary-aged students with exceptionalities
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to partner with staff, families, and service providers
• Commitment to providing individualized instruction and implementing IEPs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver effective lesson plans tailored to students' unique learning needs
• Monitor student progress and adapt instruction accordingly
