• State certification as a Special Education Teacher (or eligibility to obtain)

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and implement IEPs in partnership with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Assess students’ progress, modify interventions as needed, and document all outcomes
• Establish a positive, inclusive classroom environment and work proactively to ensure all students feel supported
• Communicate regularly with families, general educators, and support staff regarding student progress and needs
• Participate in professional development activities to stay current on best practices in special education
