Special Education Teacher - Pioneer, CA

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher credential (moderate to severe emphasis preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s desirable)
• Experience with middle school-aged students; SDC classroom familiarity is a plus
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and educational documentation
• Excellent collaborative, communication, and organizational skills
• Adaptable, creative, and compassionate approach to instruction

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized instruction for a moderate to severe SDC caseload
• Develop, implement, and evaluate IEPs in partnership with a multidisciplinary team
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, specialists, and families to support student growth
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and school events as assigned
