Key Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Educator License with EC-6 Special Education Endorsement
• Required experience in facilitating Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, including active participation and collaboration
• Ability to support the diverse needs of students in a self-contained life skills setting
• Strict adherence to dress code policy, which includes keeping any tattoos covered, maintaining single-color hair, wearing professional attire, and limiting piercings to appropriate earrings

Core Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized instruction for students with a range of abilities and needs
• Participate in all Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, providing insight and recommendations for student supports and services
• Collaborate with instructional teams, therapists, and support staff to foster a positive, inclusive, and effective learning environment
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and comply with all established documentation protocols
• Communicate clearly with families and caregivers regarding student growth and next steps
• Consistently implement school policies and classroom management strategies to promote respect, community, and equality
