  • Strong communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of federal and state special education regulations

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in coordination with staff and families
  • Deliver engaging instruction and adapt curriculum to meet each student’s unique strengths and challenges
  • Cultivate a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Employ evidence-based behavioral interventions and accommodations
  • Monitor, assess, and document student progress, and adjust strategies as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
  • Collaborate closely with fellow educators, related service providers, and school administrators
