Key Qualifications:

• Current Special Education teaching certification
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Previous experience teaching or assisting in a Special Education setting
• Understanding of IEP processes and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students on caseload (2-5 students)
• Deliver instruction and support tailored to each student’s unique learning needs and abilities
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share student progress and address concerns
• Adapt instructional methods and materials to accommodate various learning styles
