Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience working with elementary-age students, particularly K-2nd grade, is preferred
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students, mainly in a pull-out setting, providing academic and behavioral support as outlined in IEPs
• Maintain a caseload of 20-26 students, tracking progress and adjusting strategies as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to ensure cohesive support
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Engage with parents, families, and team members to communicate student progress and goals
• Document student progress, prepare necessary reporting, and participate in relevant meetings
