What we’re seeking:

  • Louisiana certification in Special Education or a current LA teaching certificate with willingness to pursue SPED certification

  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities when working with colleagues, students, and families

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering individualized instruction and adapting curriculum to meet students’ unique needs
  • Developing and implementing IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Creating a structured, positive classroom environment that encourages learning and social-emotional growth
  • Monitoring and documenting student progress consistently
  • Employing evidence-based strategies to support behavioral and academic goals
