This full-time role runs from August 19, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a 35-hour workweek and a start time of 7:45 am. As a co-teacher for 6th and 7th grade English Language Arts and math classes, you’ll partner with two dedicated teachers, ensuring students with diverse needs receive the individualized instruction and support essential for their success. Expect to lead three ELA and two math sections, fostering a classroom culture that encourages inclusivity, understanding, and confidence.
Key Qualifications:
- Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement required
- Proven experience or strong interest in co-teaching within a middle school environment
- Solid knowledge of IEP processes and best practices in differentiation
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues, students, and families
- Strong organizational abilities and a deep commitment to supporting diverse learners
