Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education certification
• Demonstrated coursework or credits in Math; alternatively, credentials as a Teacher of the Handicapped with required Math credits
• Experience or drive to instruct students with diverse learning needs in Math
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities
• Dedication to adapting lessons for multiple learning styles and abilities
• Commitment to professional collaboration with support staff and classroom teachers

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group Math instruction to students who require special education services
• Design, adapt, and implement engaging lessons that support each student’s IEP goals
• Monitor and assess student progress, modifying instructional strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation of IEP compliance, progress monitoring, and communication with families
• Collaborate with other educators, case managers, and related service providers to foster seamless educational experiences
• Create a structured, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
