Three immediate openings are available across grades 4th-6th and elementary levels, with supportive onsite teams and a collaborative environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active Special Education (SPED) teaching certification.
- At least one of the following endorsements, matched to the position grade range: Self Contained, Core Subjects, or Generalist.
- Demonstrated classroom experience supporting students with disabilities, intellectual differences, or behavioral needs.
- Deep commitment to inclusive, student-centered instruction and differentiated strategies.
- Effective communicator and team collaborator.
- Strong organizational skills for managing documentation and supporting IEP processes.
Responsibilities:
- Guide, instruct, and nurture students in Life Skills (FASE) or Behavior Autism self-contained settings.
- Differentiate and adapt curriculum, fostering academic, social, and behavioral growth tailored to each student.
- Develop, implement, and track IEP goals, collaborating with families and support staff.
- Cultivate a supportive, positive classroom environment that encourages independence and self-advocacy.
- Manage documentation, data collection, and compliance with educational standards and state requirements.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings.
