Desired Qualifications:
- Active, valid Texas Special Education (EC-12) teaching certificate
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Experience in self-contained special education settings or with specialized populations (life skills, autism, behavior, or medically fragile) preferred
- Strong classroom management skills and a passion for individualized, student-centered instruction
- Ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to inclusive practices and collaborative teamwork
- Must complete TEA fingerprinting if not previously processed within Texas public schools (allow up to 7 days for clearance)
