These are full-time, onsite roles at a collaborative education setting where your expertise will enhance the lives of students with diverse abilities.

Available Roles:

• Math Resource Special Education Teacher: Applicants must hold valid Special Education and Math certifications. Experience working with secondary-level students in resource or inclusion math settings is highly valued.

• Academic Vocational Life Skills Special Education Teacher: Candidates need Special Education certification alongside Core Content (EC-6) certification. Familiarity with developing and implementing individualized life skills or vocational programming is highly desirable.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and valid Texas Special Education certification for both roles.
• Math certification required for Math Resource role.
• Core Content (EC-6) certification required for Life Skills role.
• Demonstrated experience in the specific setting for which you are applying.
• Strong classroom management skills and a passion for facilitating growth in students with special needs.
• Ability to develop tailored educational plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective instruction aligned with students’ IEPs.
• Assess student progress, maintaining comprehensive documentation and clear communication with families.
• Work closely with team members and support staff to promote an inclusive environment.
• Adapt curriculum, instructional strategies, and assessment to meet individual learning needs.
• Cultivate positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
