Special Ed Teacher | Plymouth, Massachusetts

This full-time Special Education Teacher position offers an opportunity to work onsite in a school setting located in Plymouth, MA. The role focuses on providing specialized education services to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they receive individualized support to succeed academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students' unique learning requirements
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff to create inclusive learning environments
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies accordingly
• Engage with families to communicate student progress and coordinate support services
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal special education regulations

Qualifications:

• Certification in Special Education
• Experience working with students with a variety of disabilities
• Strong understanding of special education laws, assessment tools, and instructional strategies
• Ability to design differentiated lessons and behavior intervention plans
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
