Special Education Teacher - Plymouth, Massachusetts

This contract role is ideal for an experienced Special Education Teacher seeking a part-time position serving both elementary and middle school learners. This position is scheduled for 2 days a week, 3 hours each day, totaling 9 hours per week. The assignment will run from ASAP through mid-June. Your expertise will make a direct impact, delivering tailored instruction and support to help every student succeed.

Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts Special Education License (required)
• Prior experience working with elementary and/or middle school students a plus
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to individualizing instruction and supporting students’ diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted instruction and support for students with disabilities in alignment with IEP goals
• Design and deliver engaging lessons that facilitate academic and social-emotional growth
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, aides, and other specialists to ensure inclusive educational experiences
• Monitor, track, and report on student progress and adapt strategies as needed
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student achievement and progress
