Special Education Teacher

Position Details:

• Full-time, school-based position
• 2026–2027 school year
• Caseload and grade level assigned based on experience and district needs

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Provide specialized instruction aligned with students' academic and functional goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education
• Active Oregon Special Education Teaching License or eligibility to obtain one before the start date
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required
