Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• Demonstrated experience in creating and implementing IEPs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Comfort with differentiating instruction based on student needs
• Commitment to ongoing professional development

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
• Adapt curriculum and teaching techniques to accommodate various learning styles
• Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and parents/guardians
• Track progress and document student growth in academic, behavioral, and social skills
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluation processes
• Support and guide paraprofessionals and classroom aides
• Maintain a nurturing and structured classroom where all students are valued
