Key Qualifications:

• Valid Rhode Island teaching license and certification for Special Education
• Willingness to obtain a National BCI
• Experience or passion for working with 5th-grade students with diverse learning needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction as a 5th grade Special Education Teacher
• Provide one period of resource support and three to four periods co-teaching or push-in services daily
• Manage a caseload of 9 students, providing additional services to 15–17 students in reading and/or writing
• Collaborate with general education staff to ensure student success
• Commit to a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule from 7:45am–2:45pm
