Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Proven experience working in Special Education within a K–12 academic setting
• Deep understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Strong communication skills to partner with staff, families, and service providers
• Ability to differentiate instruction and apply a range of classroom management strategies
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help each student reach their fullest potential

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized instruction aligned with IEP objectives
• Track and assess student progress, maintaining detailed documentation
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
• Create and maintain a positive classroom environment that supports student learning and well-being
