This contract opportunity involves engaging with young learners across life skills, autistic support, and learning support classrooms (including a split between two buildings), allowing you to deliver differentiated instruction tailored to each student’s needs.

Step into a collaborative school environment near Pottstown, PA, where you’ll implement both push-in and pull-out interventions. This role consists of a 37.5-hour work week (Monday through Friday), beginning as soon as possible and extending through June 4, 2027. Your responsibilities would include developing individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating with general education teachers and support staff, communicating progress with families, and adapting instructional methods for optimal student outcomes.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid Instructional I or II Pennsylvania Certification for K-12 Special Education (emergency certs not accepted)
  • Equivalent out-of-state certification may be considered
  • Experience supporting life skills, autism spectrum, and learning support needs at the elementary level preferred
  • Ability to manage resource settings, including split assignments between multiple school buildings
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct instruction to students in resource and inclusion settings
  • Develop and implement IEPs, collect data, and monitor student progress
  • Adapt curriculum and teaching methods for diverse learning needs
