• Preschool Special Ed Teaching positions
• Special Education roles in grades K–3, 1–3, 5–8, 6–8, and within UPK programs

Key Qualifications:

• NY State Special Education Teacher certification appropriate for assigned grade level
• Master’s degree in education required
• Strong commitment to individualized instruction and student advocacy
• Ability to create and adapt instructional materials for varying skill levels
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Experience with IEP development and progress monitoring is highly valued

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Delivering direct instruction in accordance with students’ unique learning profiles
• Collaborating with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to foster an inclusive, supportive classroom climate
• Engaging in ongoing progress assessment and communication with families and school personnel
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
