Minnesota Special Education Teacher Needed for Leave Coverage

We are seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to support a self-contained middle school classroom in Minnesota. This in-person role serves students with autism and similar support needs within a collaborative, well-supported program.

Position Details:

• Location: Minnesota

• Dates: April 6 – End of School Year

• Schedule: Full-time

• Setting: In-person, self-contained classroom

• Students: 6 middle school students

Program Support:

• Part of a structured program with 3 Special Education Teachers and 5 Paraprofessionals

• Team-oriented environment with strong classroom support

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction aligned to IEP goals

• Implement behavior supports and structured routines

• Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals and SPED team members

• Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation

• Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment

Qualifications:

• Minnesota Special Education licensure (or ability to obtain)

• Experience with autism and self-contained settings preferred

• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
