Middle School Special Education Teacher Needed in Minnesota

A Minnesota school is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to work in a self-contained middle school classroom serving students with autism and related needs. This is an in-person position within a collaborative, well-staffed program.

Assignment Details:

• Location: Minnesota

• Dates: April 6 – End of School Year

• Schedule: Full-time

• Setting: Self-contained, in-person classroom

• Student Load: 6 middle school students

Program Structure:

• Part of a comprehensive program with 3 SPED teachers and 5 paraprofessionals

• Strong team-based support and collaboration

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction and individualized supports

• Implement IEP goals, behavior plans, and structured routines

• Supervise and collaborate with paraprofessionals

• Collect data and document student progress

• Create a positive, structured learning environment

Requirements:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education license (or ability to obtain)

• Experience working with students with autism preferred

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting
