A K-12 school in Providence, RI is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a contracted school year position. This role focuses on supporting students with diverse learning needs across various grade levels, implementing individualized education plans, and fostering an inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and adapt instructional materials to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure coordinated service delivery
  • Monitor and document student progress, preparing reports as required by IEP goals
  • Implement behavioral interventions and support strategies to promote positive student outcomes

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education
