Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience with K–2nd grade students, preferably in both resource and self-contained settings
• Background in supporting students with social/emotional needs
• Familiarity with hybrid teaching models and flexible, individualized instruction
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide specially designed instruction for a social/emotional caseload in a hybrid PreK–2 classroom
• Deliver instruction to K–2nd grade students, flexibly shifting between resource support and increased individualized attention for high-need students
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere tailored to each learner’s needs
• Collaborate with faculty, families, and support staff to implement IEPs and promote growth
• Adapt teaching strategies to support both academic and emotional development
