Two positions are available, offering unique experiences: one serving the curiosity of young learners in PreK-2nd grade, the other empowering middle schoolers in grades 6-8. No matter your preference, you’ll benefit from exposure to varied teaching practices, collaborative teams, and leadership styles—all contributing to professional growth and a robust resume.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Valid Rhode Island Special Education Teaching License
  • Experience with push in/push out caseloads and adapting to student IEP needs
  • Passion for fostering inclusive, engaging learning environments
  • Adaptability and strong communication skills for effective team collaboration

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored instruction for students with special needs (average caseload: 12–17)
  • Work in push in/push out settings depending on IEP requirements
  • Collaborate with general education staff, therapists, and families
  • Track, assess, and document student progress in line with IEP goals
  • Attend and actively engage in orientation beginning August 24th in preparation for the school year starting August 27th
