Special Education Interventionist - Pulaski, TN

Soliant is seeking a qualified Special Education Interventionist to support a middle school caseload near Pulaski, Tennessee, for the 2026–2027 school year.

Assignment Details

Position: Special Education Interventionist
Location: Pulaski, TN
Schedule: Full-Time
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–3:00 PM
Duration: Full 2026–2027 School Year
Setting: Middle School

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and intervention support to students receiving special education services.

• Develop and implement individualized instructional strategies based on student academic and educational needs.

• Support students in meeting their IEP goals and accessing the general education curriculum.

• Implement targeted interventions and monitor student progress.

• Maintain accurate documentation related to student progress, IEP goals, and services.

• Provide appropriate accommodations, modifications, and differentiated instruction.

• Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, administrators, related service providers, and families.

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of individualized student goals.

• Maintain a structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

• Support students in developing academic skills, independence, and confidence.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Tennessee teaching license with a 144 or 145 endorsement required.

• Previous experience working with middle school students preferred.

• Experience providing special education interventions and individualized instruction preferred.

• Strong classroom management, communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

• Ability to monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on student needs.

• Ability to work full-time, Monday–Friday, from 7:30 AM–3:00 PM.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Special Education Interventionist.

• Experience working with middle school students receiving special education services.

• Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring.

• Experience providing targeted academic interventions.

• Strong understanding of accommodations, modifications, and differentiated instruction.

• Experience collaborating with general education and multidisciplinary school teams.
