Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education teaching license for Wisconsin
  • Endorsement in elementary special education and behavior management strategies
  • Experience working with students with autism and intellectual disabilities (ID), preferably across elementary and high school age groups
  • Ability to adapt instructional approaches to meet individual learning needs
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills for working with families and school staff

Your Role:

  • Teach and support students in two elementary autism programs, one early childhood position, and one high school intellectual disability program (multiple open roles)
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique strengths and needs
  • Promote classroom engagement and positive behavior using evidence-based methods
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver a comprehensive support system for students
  • Document progress and maintain accurate student records in compliance with school policy and state/federal guidelines
  • Foster a safe and nurturing classroom environment that encourages growth and achievement
