Multiple positions are available for Special Education Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year, including roles focused on Autistic Support at the elementary level, as well as Learning Support at the middle and high school levels. What you’ll bring:

  • Active Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate (must be valid by the start date; emergency permits may be sponsored by HR)
  • Experience or interest in supporting students with autism or students requiring learning support
  • Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet a variety of learner needs and age groups
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ strengths and challenges
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, administrators, and families
  • Provide direct instruction, interventions, and accommodations in both inclusive and pull-out settings
  • Collect and analyze student progress data, adjusting supports as necessary
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to comply with state and federal guidelines
  • Foster a positive and respectful classroom culture

  • 6 positions available: 1 Autistic Support (elementary), 1 Learning Support (middle school), 4 Learning Support (high school)
  • 35 hours per week
  • School year runs August 24, 2026 – June 10, 2027
  • School-specific hours for each age group
