Special Education Teacher in Quakertown, PA

What you bring:

• Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate with Special Education endorsement for middle school level
• Experience working with autistic support classrooms or related settings is highly valued
• Strong communication, patience, and collaboration skills
• Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Commitment to creating a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment

Role highlights:

• Provide direct instructional support to middle school students in an autistic support classroom
• Develop, review, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with families and other professionals
• Implement behavioral and academic interventions tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and support services to ensure student progress
• Maintain documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
• Participate in professional meetings and training sessions as necessary

Position details:

• Full-time, contract opportunity with a schedule of 7:15am – 2:45pm, Monday–Friday
• Start as soon as possible; ends June 10, 2027
• 35 hours weekly with a half-hour unpaid lunch
• Student caseload information will be provided prior to assignment
