Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Special Education Certification issued by the Arizona Department of Education
  • Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Card
  • Previous experience working in a high school or resource setting is highly valued
  • Strong commitment to individualized support, IEP development, and inclusive teaching
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust with students, families, and colleagues
  • Adaptable and resourceful approach to overcoming learning challenges

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted instruction and interventions for high school students with diverse learning needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Collaborate with educators, service providers, and families to support student progress and well-being
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Foster a classroom culture of respect, empathy, and accountability
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, team planning, and ongoing professional development
