Qualifications:

  • NY Special Education (SPED) License required

  • Demonstrated ability to tailor instruction to individual student IEPs

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized instruction to homebound students (1-3 hour sessions per visit)
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials for each student’s unique needs
  • Monitor and document student progress according to IEP goals
  • Communicate regularly with families and school partners to ensure academic continuity
  • Travel to students’ residences within the Queensbury area; flexibility required
