Qualifications:

• Current Massachusetts license in Severe Disabilities (Moderate/Severe) Special Education required
• Experience working in substantially separate, intensive, or specialized special education settings is preferred
• Ability to develop and implement differentiated instructional strategies based on student needs
• Strong skills in collaboration, communication, and classroom management
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and productive classroom culture

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction and modify curriculum for students with severe disabilities in alignment with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general educators, paraprofessionals, specialists, and families to plan and deliver services that promote student growth and independence
• Monitor, record, and report on student progress, adjusting strategies for optimal learning outcomes
• Manage a supportive classroom environment that emphasizes safety, respect, and engagement
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
