As an integral part of the school community near Quincy, MA, you’ll collaborate with a team of educators, specialists, and support staff, ensuring students receive individualized instruction and the support they need to thrive.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Special Education Teaching License appropriate for Massachusetts
  • Previous experience working with students in special education settings, especially in developmental learning classrooms
  • Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Passion for fostering growth and independence in students with diverse learning needs
  • Collaborative team approach and willingness to participate in professional development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement individualized educational plans tailored to student needs
  • Provide differentiated instruction, utilizing a variety of teaching methods and resources
  • Monitor and document student progress; adjust strategies as necessary
  • Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure holistic student achievement
  • Develop a positive, structured classroom environment that encourages engagement and growth
  • Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to a constructive school culture
