This contract opportunity places you with young learners in grades K-5, providing specialized instruction and support to help every student thrive. As an ISE Specialist, you’ll collaborate with educators and families, developing individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensuring each child receives tailored guidance.

Key qualifications:

  • Current and valid state teaching license in Special Education
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students in grades K-5
  • Comfortable supporting students with moderate to severe needs
  • Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and documentation
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Passionate about fostering inclusive, equitable learning environments

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to students in a self-contained or integrated classroom
  • Create, monitor, and update IEPs in partnership with team members and families
  • Employ adaptive and differentiated teaching methods
  • Assess student progress and adjust strategies as needed
  • Maintain detailed records and comply with educational standards
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing collaboration with school staff
