Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Wisconsin Special Education Teaching credentials are required
• Strong background in IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Demonstrated ability to effectively support students’ individual learning needs
• Experience working in self-contained and/or resource settings, preferred
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom culture
• Enthusiastic, adaptable, and receptive to feedback and professional growth
• Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual student goals
• Manage and maintain accurate IEPs for assigned students, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create effective learning plans
• Utilize data-driven decision-making to monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed
• Foster an environment that celebrates diversity, encourages student achievement, and prioritizes positive behavioral interventions
• Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings and team discussions
