Special Education Teacher - Raleigh, NC

• Valid Special Education teaching certification

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff
• Strong organizational abilities for data tracking, progress monitoring, and reporting

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized instructional plans to address students’ diverse learning needs
• Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to support student growth
• Administer and interpret assessments to develop effective learning goals
• Participate in IEP meetings, maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with regulations
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive classroom environment that prioritizes student safety and engagement
• Adapt lessons and materials to ensure accessibility for all learners
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
