In this role, you will:

• Provide individualized and group instruction to students with special needs in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, administrators, and related service providers to implement best practices and effective interventions
• Develop, adapt, and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to a variety of learning abilities and styles
• Assess student progress and maintain accurate records to support student growth and IEP compliance
• Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment that supports all learners
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress, goals, and needs
• Contribute to IEP meetings, providing insight, updates, and recommendations
• Remain up-to-date on teaching strategies, interventions, and compliance requirements in special education

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching credential
• Prior experience working with students in special education, preferably within a school setting
• Strong understanding of IEP procedures, compliance, and instructional strategies
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build meaningful relationships with students, families, and staff
