Special Education Teacher - Randolph, Vermont

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification meeting state requirements
• Experience designing and implementing IEPs for students in K-8 settings
• Passion for inclusive education and differentiated instruction
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet individualized student needs
• Proficiency in data collection and progress monitoring

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-person special education services for assigned caseloads in either a middle school or elementary school setting
• Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers and support staff
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages participation and growth for all students
• Monitor and document student progress, adapting instruction as necessary
• Engage regularly with parents and guardians to communicate student progress and promote continuity between home and school
• Maintain compliance with state and district requirements
