Special Education Teacher - Randolph, Vermont

Two full-time, in-person positions are open, with one focused on Middle School and another on High School environments for the 2026-2027 academic year. • Valid state licensure and credentials meeting all requirements for Special Education Teachers
• Demonstrated experience supporting students with varied learning needs
• Strong skills in developing, implementing, and case-managing IEPs
• Capacity to conduct student evaluations and collaborate closely with families, faculty, and specialized staff
• Effective communication, organizational, and leadership abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Middle School Special Educator (5th-6th Grade)

• Case-manage and provide specialized instruction for a focused caseload
• Conduct comprehensive educational assessments
• Prepare and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Foster inclusive and supportive classroom environments

High School Special Educator

• Deliver direct instruction to high schoolers with IEPs
• Oversee and mentor paraeducators supporting your caseload
• Facilitate academic, social, and behavioral success for each student in your care
• Maintain meticulous records and collaborate on transition planning
