Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Previous experience working with students with disabilities or diverse learning needs
• Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong understanding of current teaching techniques and behavioral management strategies
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, families, and administrators

Main Responsibilities:

• Create and adapt lesson plans to meet each student’s needs and learning styles
• Work with students individually or in small groups to provide specialized instruction
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
• Regularly assess and revise IEPs to ensure academic growth
• Serve as a key resource for staff and families regarding student progress and strategies
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams
