We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher (SPED) to serve as an Elementary Resource Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This role offers the opportunity to provide targeted support to students in a collaborative and inclusive school environment.
Position Overview
* Start Date: August 12, 2026
* End Date: End of School Year (EOSY)
* Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week
* Student Population: Elementary Resource Caseload
* Pay Rate: $40–$48 per hour
Responsibilities
* Provide resource support services to students with individualized education plans (IEPs)
* Deliver small group and individualized instruction based on student needs
* Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and accommodations
* Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families
* Track student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
* Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
* Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Requirements
* Active Special Education certification required
* Experience working with elementary students preferred
* Experience in resource or inclusion settings strongly preferred
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
* Must be comfortable working onsite
