Key Qualifications:
- Valid PA Instructional I or II Certification in K-12 Special Education required (no emergency certifications accepted)
- Candidates holding out-of-state certifications are encouraged to submit credentials for consideration
- Previous experience with elementary (K-5) students preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with general education teachers, families, and support staff
- Committed to fostering an inclusive, positive classroom environment
- Proficient in implementing IEPs, adapting instruction, and delivering resource support (push-in/pull-out)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs
- Deliver targeted instruction in resource rooms and support students within general education settings
- Adapt lessons, materials, and assessments to meet diverse learner profiles
- Provide direct instruction and interventions for students with a range of needs, including Life Skills and Autistic Support
- Collaborate with educational teams across multiple elementary school sites
- Monitor progress and maintain clear, timely communication with families and staff
- Demonstrate flexibility in working between different classroom settings and buildings
This contract runs from your start date through June 4, 2027, offering a reliable weekly schedule of 37.5 hours (Monday to Friday) along with competitive hourly rates ranging from $37.15 to $54.26, based on qualifications and experience.
