Special Education Teacher in Red Oak, TX

What we’re seeking:

• Current, active special education teaching certification for Texas
• Certification in secondary math
• Experience working with high school-aged students, preferably in a special education setting
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt instruction and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) with care and creativity

What you'll do:

• Provide direct instruction to high school students on your assigned caseload
• Plan, deliver, and adjust lessons based on IEP goals and student needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents
• Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and participate in IEP meetings
• Maintain compliance with state and district requirements for documentation and reporting

This position is for 37.5 hours per week and requires you to be onsite.
